Flex Fitness first gen center driven prone lying leg curl. This is a very RARE machine, made by one of the all-time best commercial gym equipment manufacturers. This leg extension, like all Flex units, feels amazing and is built like a tank. This unit is center driven. This is important because with traditional leg curls, the resistance is not even. It’s either heavier on the left or right side, depending on which side the stack is on and the arm of the machine extends. The angle is great, and the range of motion is perfect. This machine is in beautiful condition. This machine is a favorite at Powerhouse Gym in Syosset NYC (The East Coast Mecca) and is featured in many training videos with various IFBB pros.

This is one of my personal favorite smith machines because it doesn’t have any angle or slant. Wiith no angle, the tension is actually on the muscle the duration of the movement, throughout the entire rep. This machine has silky, smooth, linear bearings and is built like a tank! Built in safeties make it a great choice when training alone. The smith machine is just as effective as free weights and you’re far less likely to get hurt.
