SciFit Pro2 Total Body Ergometer
This unit is in excellent, preowned condition. This machine has been cleaned, serviced and thoroughly tested. This unit retails new for $5,300.
The axis of the crank arms on the SciFit Pro2 Total Body Ergometer needs to adjust to the height of the user, whether they are seated or standing. If the axis is too high there will be impingement at the 12 o’clock position. Too low, and there can be supraspinatus/biceps tendon strain at the 6 o’clock position. In most cases, it is ideal to set the axis level to the shoulder or just 1-2” below.
The crank arms on the SciFit Pro2 Total Body Ergometer need to be adjusted as well—a short-limbed person would not want to start with a long crank arm that takes them out of their prescribed range of motion (ROM). Conversely, a long-limbed person would lose mechanical advantage and optimal ROM with too short of a crank arm. Independent adjustments allow users to select a shorter ROM setting on the involved side while maintaining mechanical advantage on the strong side; providing passive assistance when beneficial.
Having the ability to change the crank arm orientation on the SciFit Pro2 Total Body Ergometer from the standard bicycle offset movement to work in unison or in a rotary rowing pattern is advantageous. It allows the user to work in core flexion versus rotation in cases where torso rotation is undesirable.
With the SciFit Pro2 Total Body Ergometer you have the ability to utilize bi-directional movement. Bi-directional movement is essential for muscle and joint balance, but perhaps more importantly for neuromuscular kinesthesia. When we cue the patient to go backwards, 99 times out of 100 their neuromuscular hardwiring will tell them to pull. When we cue them to go forward their brain will tell them to push. But as their kinesthetic awareness expands, they will come to realize that as only part of the total equation. In fact, in the course of any given rotation there are myriad push/pull combinations. As these new neuromuscular pattern connections are made, kinesthesia, motor skills, and even cognitive skills are improved. Anything that takes the patient out of the dominant pattern makes the brain-muscle connection stronger and actually smarter.
Make sure the handle angle is neutral. It is important that the handle angle keeps your forearm in the anatomically neutral position. Over pronating and over supinating creates torque and stress in both the proximal and distal radio-ulnar joints.
The SciFit Pro2 Total Body Ergometer is a versatile, highly adjustable upper body exerciser can be used seated or standing. It is also ideal for ground-based training.
The industry's most versatile rehabilitation tool, the PRO2 is an upper body exerciser and lower body recumbent bike in one for a total body solution. Dependent upper and lower cranks enable passive assistance.

![Cybex 750AT Arc Trainer – SUPER CLEAN](https://www.fitnessequipmentempire.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/web1-9-268x268.jpg)
Cybex 750AT Arc Trainer – SUPER CLEAN
A commercial high end cross trainer created for the most demanding users, in the most demanding environment. The versatility of the Cybex 750AT also makes it the workout of choice for beginning cross trainers – which allows the fitness center owner to purchase one unit to be used by all. This unit is extremely clean, and retails elsewhere for far more than our price.
Not all cross trainers are created equal. Cross training refers to working various parts of the body by combining different exercises in a variety of ways. Typically one activity or sport trains certain parts of the body but not others. Cross training aims to eliminate this. Cross trainers are generally non-impact machines – sometimes called “ellipticals” – which refers to a specific motion. All ellipticals are cross trainers but not all cross trainers are ellipticals.
More results in less time. Research shows that the Cybex Arc Trainer burns more calories than any other cross trainer or elliptical cross trainer tested. The science behind the Arc Trainer’s big calorie burn is the Arc motion. It engages the right muscles – quads and glutes – that demand lots of energy from the body when they are called upon to work. That means big calorie burn. And ... because the Arc is demanding of the muscles – not the joints, it can be used longer without putting a strain on the knees, hip or back.
Train for strength, power, endurance, cardio, and weight loss. The Cybex Arc Trainer offers broad incline and resistance ranges which means it is really 3 machines in one. At the lower incline levels, the “glide” is a cross country skier. In the mid-range levels, the motion is a “stride” (like an elliptical except with proper positioning). At the high levels, the “climb” of a stepper or climber. Glide, stride, and climb. And ... lots of programs also make the Arc Trainer fun to use.
No more “elliptical knees”. Unlike other cross trainers on the market, the patented Arc pattern of motion allows the hip and knee to move synchronously while the foot stays under the knee, reducing joint pains and providing a more comfortable workout.
